Why not the App Store?

Apps on the Mac App Store run in Apple’s sandbox. These apps need more: Horef Portal drives VMware Fusion and creates Dock shortcuts for Windows programs; Horef Pulse reads the load of every process so AI agents can pace their work. Apple does not allow that inside the sandbox, so we publish them here instead — with the same signing and malware check by Apple (notarization).

Install

1. Download the DMG from the app’s page and open it.
2. Drag the app to Applications, then open it from there.
3. macOS confirms the app comes from the internet — it is notarized, so it opens normally. If you want to check the file, compare shasum -a 256 of the DMG with the SHA-256 on the app’s page.

Updates

Horef Portal checks this site once a day and on Check for Updates…; it installs a new version only when you click, after checking the download’s SHA-256, our signature and Apple’s notarization. For other apps, download the new DMG from the app’s page and replace the app in Applications. Settings and data stay.
